Athletics

On behalf of the Lopez Lobo administration, it is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year. Our motto for this year is “BE PRESENT. BE FOCUSED. BE A LOBO.” We expect great things to come from the contributions of our students, parents, and the staff. We want all of our students to commit to being present in all that they do. Focus on not only the task at hand, but focus on what the future may bring and represent being a LOBO by maintaining high standards on and off the field. They are expected to be excellent role models in our community and at school.

This year we step into a familiar challenge of trying to balance academics and extra-curricular activities.  Our football players, student trainers, band, ROTC, Golden Stars, cheerleaders have been working hard to ensure we have an exciting football season. They have risen to the challenge of becoming leaders on our campus and leaders in our community. We applaud them for taking on the challenge to represent Lopez Early College High School.

There have been many generations that have walked the halls of Lopez Early College High School.  We welcome all Lobo Alumni, parents and community members to come and support the hard work these student athletes have put forth.
